Here’s some hand sketched visualizations for an architectural contest we did some years ago… We draw the stuff by hand, then scanned it, and added colors and some cartoons drawn by the great Giorgio Cavazzano (dunno where we got them…) to give it some extra life…

ADO Hospice project

We recently did a fast visualizations (less than a week for modeling and rendering)  for a new hospice building promoted by ADO, a no-profit group involved in oncologic assistance at home. Project by arch. Paolo Grazzi of Sefim-coop.

We just finished designing a contemporary house, deeply sinked into green, environment-friendly principles. It’s been designed to perform particularly well in very hot climates, such as Australia, Mexico, hotter part of the USA. We’ve called it, strangely enough,  “Desert House”.

Instant Karma

Here’s our project “Instant Karma”, inspired and named after John Lennon‘s masterpiece.

We did the project (for a modern barn that could be placed everywhere as a shelter in stunning environments) and also the visualization. More images and project synopsis in the full post!

Kami-gami watercolor treatment on hand drawn sketches

Here’s how our friends at kami-gami design studios (http://www.kami-gami.com) approached the visualization for a project by Materica Studio, named Instant Karma. It’s a prefabricated wooden shelter that can be built and put everywhere there’s a need for a shelter in the nature, be it a National Park, an emergency site or else.

The request was to re-create an interior from a photo. Again, we looked for a photographic effect more than fotorealism, and we think the mood is there!

So here’s a project which won a couple awards…

arch. Massimiliano Menegale of Materica Studio was the team leader for it.

It was prized with 2nd place in the international competition “Saie Selection” back in 2010, and the same year it won also 2nd prize at the “Agaf 2010” competition.
