Earth Steps bookshelf by Materica Studio’s Max Menegale

Here’s another one of Materica Studio’s Max Menegale bookshelves…

It’s called “Earth steps”, and has some nice squared frames giving movement and dynamism to the classically shaped bookshelf.

If you’re interested in the rendering development of these images, they were done with one simple directional direct light… materials and also lighting at the time was still a bit rough, but the modelling was quite well done, so we managed to get a quite decent photographical feel…

The floor isa way less than perfect Some major displacement map error, but the reflections aren’t that bad… Still, light is quite good, and the design is classy enough to let these sharp imperfections be acceptable
